MESSAGE FROM PATRON OF IMM MINISTER OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND INDUSTRY I would like to commend the efforts of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) for its contribution to enhancing the capacity of marketing professionals and practitioners in the country. IMM’s contribution is in line with the Government’s call for the private sector as well as professional bodies to upgrade and develop human capital in Malaysia. Given the intense competitive environment that we operate in, marketing professionals can make a significant contribution to the expansion of exports of goods and services. As such it is imperative for these professionals to continually enhance their competencies. It is in this context that IMM’s role is increasingly important and relevant. I encourage industry to take advantage of IMM’s programmes and activities and in turn to become partners in human capital development and nation building. I wish everyone at IMM the very best.
